Hello Ladies. I ask this question because my girlfriend Mags seems to think I lack fashion sense.
Do you think it’s bad for a guy to wear socks with sandals?
Wait! Before you give me your answer, keep in mind the functionality. For a guy like me who wears mostly sandals, socks are a great cold weather accessory! Oh so convienient and versatile! That counts for something, right?
….right?
Okay, now you can tell me what you think?
…..for those of you who don’t know, my dad runs a carpentry shop, and I’ve been helping him ever since I was a kid. And ever since I was a kid he’s given me the same things to build over and over again:
“Here Jesus, build this cross for me.”
“Jesus, do you think you could make a few crosses this afternoon?”
“Hey Buddy, Romans ordered some more crosses again, think you could build those for me?”
Dad, really? I think I’m past the skill set of only making right angles. Two pieces of wood and two braces and then what do I do? Sit around and wait for the day to be over. I want to do work. I hate sitting around. I’m a pretty good carpenter if he would just give me a chance.
And the Romans need to stop crucifying so many people, because I don’t want to build their crosses anymore.
I just think it would be cool to ride one, you know?
He’s selling it on ebay. Who’s going to buy toast with my face on it? Dude’ll do anything for some silver.
I try to keep it classy on a friday night.
I don’t really care, they can call me what they want to, but come on people, not all tan guys are hispanic.
but, have you ever had random strangers ask to wash your feet for you?
It’s been happening to me a lot lately. I’ll be talking to a bunch of people, just hanging out, and someone will be like “Jesus let me wash your feet!” and I’ll say “um, sure? i guess that’d be cool…”
Because let’s be real here, I like foot hygiene as much as the next guy, but I like to take care of that business myself, you know? I feel bad; I don’t want to offend them.
My feet are clean though, that’s the important part!
So, my friend Pete wouldn’t stop talking about tumblr and he was all “Jesus, make one already! You’d love it!” So, here it goes.
I don’t really know what to put on here. I guess I should tell you about myself. I grew up in Nazareth, I worked with my dad for a long time as a carpenter, but now I mostly just travel around with some of my friends, backpacking and stuff. We’re a friendly bunch of vagabonds, we like roughing it and camping and couch surfing. I’ve got a great beard (I was told people on tumblr like beards, so I thought I’d mention it.) I think people need to take it easy and see the good in others, it would solve so many problems if they did that, you know?
Anyway, send me a message or whatever, I have no idea what i’m doing, so if you have any comments or advice for me, that’d be great.
